The Twilight Masquerade Elite Trainer Box is the perfect product to buy, for players of the Pokemon TCG. However, collectors should only purchase this Elite Trainer Box if they specifically like the design of the collector’s box and the items inside. The design used on the Twilight Masquerade ETB is my favourite in the Scarlet & Violet series. I love the turquoise, blue and green colour scheme used with the inclusion of Ogerpon in the centre. Overall, it’s a slick design, which I’m excited to get my hands on.
We’re still waiting to see the highly anticipated full-art Teal Mask Ogerpon promo card. The previous Scarlet & Violet ETB Promo cards have been underwhelming, so I am not expecting much from the card. On the other hand, the design of this product is so good that there might still be hope for the Ogerpon promo in the Twilight Masquerade Elite Trainer Box.
The Twilight Masquerade ETB will be priced similarly to the previous Temporal Forces ETB. The current pre-order price is $50, but we can expect this to drop below $40 after the release of the product.
In terms of the set, Twilight Masquerade is a solid expansion to the Scarlet & Violet series. The expansion features new Pokemon from the Kitakami region, more Future and Ancient Pokemon cards, six new Ace Spec cards and some all-time classics like Greninja! Twilight Masquerade balances old, classic Pokemon and new, up-and-coming Pokemon. Twilight Masquerade won’t be a crazy, stand-alone expansion. Instead, it will be a great continuation of what has made Scarlet & Violet sets popular: new Pokemon, old concepts and beautiful artworks.
In summary, If you like the design of this product and want to open some packs at a good price, then the Twilight Masquerade Elite Trainer Box is for you.
